Now Hiring: Temporary Part-Time Administrative Assistant:

First CRC is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant. This position is for approximately 10 hours per week. The role includes in-office time on Tuesday afternoons for staff meetings, along with flexible/remote hours during the week. The Administrative Assistant will support staff, coordinate volunteers, and assist with preparing for Sunday worship and other activities.

Volunteers in Action in Denver, CO is looking to immediately hire a Kids Hope USA Program Coordinator. VIA seeks to inspire hope and cultivate community flourishing by loving our neighbors in the name of Jesus. We do this by equipping, connecting and supporting individuals and churches to engage in relational service. Volunteers in Action

We have needs for volunteers in the following areas:

• Clayton Elementary School - mentor a child one hour a week through our Kids Hope/VIA partnership.

• Cherry Creek area - Spirited 95 year old with low vision needs help with reading her mail.

• Dry Creek and University - friendly and talkative woman would love to read the Bible and talk about faith with a friend.

• Aurora area - we have two women who need a friendly visitor 2 times a month.

Please consider spending a couple hours a month with a neighbor who is looking for  connection and/or needs some extra help.  Call Volunteers in Action at 303-713-9144 or apply online at www.viadenver.org.

Volunteers in Action is beginning a new program: Kids Hope. 

You can learn more about it here https://kidshopeusa.org/ . There are two volunteer opportunities with the start up of our Kids Hope program. The first is for mentors, it is a one hour a week commitment at an elementary school in the Englewood neighborhood. We will be starting one cohort of volunteers this fall and another in January.
